As a skincare addict I indulge and treat my skin to face masks every week. I invariably end up buying face masks when I am out shopping. I also at times love conjuring up fresh face masks in the kitchen but that doesn't happen a lot :-) I love the traditional clay masks and have been using them for nearly two decades now. But for a while I have been drawn more towards sheet masks. It all comes down to the fact that they are super convenient to use, easy to carry while travelling and they have been showing good results on my skin. And they also make me happy! So that is a whole lot of reasons for me to like sheet face masks. Recently I received some BeautyPro Collagen Infused Facial Masks to trial and I was more than happy to put them to test.

BeautyPro was founded by Ibs Ansari and David Herdman who have around 21 years of combined experience in the beauty industry. Not only do they have their own range of beauty and hairdressing products but they also distribute other innovative and successful brands. You must have heard of their Hot Towel Steamer Kit which is used in spas. Their Collagen Infused Facial Masks are also catching the attention of beauty lovers in the blogosphere. A very interesting brand and one to look out for. If you have not heard of BeautyPro, you can check them out here.

The BeautyPro Collagen Infused Facial Masks come in 2 different formulas:
  1. Collagen + Brightening Vitamin C and
  2. Collagen + Rebalancing Green Tea.

I received both the variants, however this review is about the Rebalancing Green Tea one. Like I mentioned earlier, sheet masks are very simple to use.
- Cleanse your face. (It is very important to wash your face before applying any face mask. I feel that its best not to have anything between the mask and the skin; so a gentle light wash is always recommended.)
- Tear the foil covering and remove the mask.
- Unfold it and position it on your face. And then relax!

Since the mask is saturated with collagen and lots of other herbs and botanicals, it will feel slightly slippery to touch. But this also ensures that it stays put on your face. The mask has a gentle cooling effect and a very mild Green tea fragrance. It is not very strong and is kind of soothing. While the packaging says to leave the mask on for 15 minutes, I usually leave my masks on for longer. 30 minutes minimum and longer if I have the time. You can leave it on for the stipulated time or until you feel that the mask has gone dry. When you are done, remove the mask and massage any residue into your skin.

With sheet masks, I usually do not wash my face afterwards. I let my skin dry naturally. After using this mask my skin felt so smooth and hydrated. The effects lasted the next day as well. I could not resist touching my face every now and then to feel the softness! Love the suppleness it imparts to the skin. This mask worked well for my maturing skin. Full marks to it. Like BeautyPro mentions these masks are "perfect before a night out, a special occasion or just for pure indulgent relaxation".

What I liked about the Collagen + Rebalancing Green Tea Mask:
- Simple and convenient to use
- Contains Green Tea which is a powerful anti-oxidant
- Improves skin firmness
- Tones the skin
- Paraben free

The Collagen + Rebalancing Green Tea Mask is priced at £5.95 individually and £24.00 for a box of 5. You can pick it up online at BeautyPro.

Have you ever tried facial sheet masks? If you have, what do you think of them? And if you have not, would you be interested in trying them out? Let me know your thoughts.
