The Chronograph Blue Orange Watch from Lilienthal Berlin

Ad | Gifted

After last year's very popular Christmas collaboration with Lilienthal Berlin, we are back this year with yet another fab collaboration with them. This time I review their Chronograph Blue Orange Watch and you, my readers, have the chance to win one too! So, read on.

Lilienthal Berlin is a German watch brand based in Berlin. Founded by Jacques Colman and Michael Gilli, Lilienthal Berlin's watches are produced to a high standard and have also won several awards like the German Design Award, Green Product Award and the International Design Award to name a few.

They pride themselves on the craftsmanship and quality of their watches and it is totally deserved as their watches are stunningly made. For this Christmas special, I have picked their Chronograph watch which features an award-winning, radiant design.

Just like all their other watches, the Chronograph also comes very nicely packaged. Presented in a velvet-lined black, monogrammed box, the watch is ready for gifting. The black box itself comes with a stylish outer sleeve in white. All of the the packaging is produced in Germany using eco-friendly materials.

The first thing that strikes you when you look at the Chronograph is what a stunning watch it is! It is a beautiful combination of elegance and uber boldness. The combination of the electric blue with the intense orange and the glow-in-the-dark Superluminova make it a design almost crackling with energy. With clear-cut lines bouncing off smooth rounded shapes and the choice of colours in the watch, the Chronograph packs a punch with its urban yet elegant looks. And it is complemented with high functionality to make it a reliable timepiece.

At the heart of the functionality of the watch is the Startech Caliber 3540.D from Swiss manufacturer Ronda which allows time to be accurately measured to the tenth of a second.

The strap is made from interwoven strands of 316L surgical stainless steel finished in a way that is extremely robust. The strap is also anti-allergenic and never rusts. The strap length can be adjusted for an optimal fit. And if you want to mix it up, you can even remove the strap (it has a quick-release mechanism) and replace it with another one from Lilienthal Berlin.

Buy one for yourself or as a gift to someone and you won't be disappointed.
