The past few days have been super busy. However, the weekend has been relaxing and I am enjoying a lazy Sunday today. Thought I would do a review today for a product that I purchased sometime last year. Yeah, its a long pending review. I had picked up the Lush Whoosh Shower Jelly long back. As the name implies, the shower jelly is just like edible jelly - wobbly and squishy.

What LUSH claims about the product: For those times when you feel like you’re an alien on your own planet. A wobbly cleansing seaweed jelly for people on the move. Our shower jellies are a wobbly good time and you might have to chase them round the shower a bit, because they tend to make a jump for freedom. But keep a firm grip and get it all over you because you are going to love how soft and supple your skin feels from the softening seaweed. Our jellies are also wobbly versatile, because that seaweed gel is not just really softening on your skin, it’s also great for hair and scalp - so don’t be afraid to use it all over. Chill it, freeze it or use it straight from the pot – whichever temperature you choose, just stroke our wobbly bit over your wobbly bits under a running shower.

My experience:
The product is a lovely blue colour and comes in a small screw top tub. The smell is lovely - fresh and citrusy - which isn't surprising considering that it has fresh organic lemon and lime juice, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, grapefruit essential oil, rosemary oil and geranium oil. I have no complaints on the fragrance front. It is lovely and perfect to wake you up. However, the fragrance doesnt linger for long which is a minus point.

Coming to the product itself. The concept of a jelly is fun and interesting. However, I am not sure if I like this concept very much. It lathers up okay when crushed into loofah and scrubbed onto the body. However, I do not like the slippery feeling of the jelly. It is my personal preference. That is one of the reasons why this tub has been lying unused for so long. It also tends to dry up my skin a bit, which is another minus point. Overall, other than the fragrance, I do not like anything about this shower jelly. I think I will stick to LUSH soaps.
