I love pink lips. For some reason, I prefer pink shades over red ones. So, when I saw this colour (NYC Ultra Last Lipwear 405 Blue Rose) on Superdrug's website, I had to add it to the cart. Considering the price, one doesn't have to think twice before picking it up. I had liked the colour when I saw it online and when it reached home, I was even happier. It is a real bright blue-based pink and I am using it when I have very little or no dramatic eye makeup. This makes my lips stand out :) in a nice way, that is. You can build up the colour with more swipes for a dramatic effect.

What I liked about this range is:
- the staying power. It stays for up to 4-5 hours, which is good enough for me.
- the finish. It is so silky and rich.
- does not feather. My lips are not perfect/smooth and many times most of the lipsticks I use, feather. This one doesn't run into the creases. But it does get transferred after dining or drinking.
- the smooth feeling. It glides on well and seems to keep my lips smooth and moisturised which I guess is due to the Jojoba seed oil present in it.
- so affordable. Can keep trying new colours frequently.

What I do not like about this lipstick is the packaging. While it is sturdy and decent for the price, the lipstick does not go all the way down. i.e. a part of it always stays out of the tube. This results in the lipstick scarping onto the cap. With the very first use, I managed to get some lippie onto the cap.

The other minor gripe is the limited number of shades in this range. There are currently only 10 shades in the Ultra last range. Hopefully, NYC is listening and will add lots more colours to this range.

Overall, for the price it is a good buy.
