I had the opportunity to try out the Skinn Collagenesis Set and here is what I think of the range. The set includes:
- Skinn Collagenesis 24 Hour Cream 50ml,
- Stem Rejen Face Serum 30ml,
- Stem Rejen Eye Serum 15ml and
- Lip Stem Rejen 15ml
The 24 hour cream is an anti-aging product that is fortified with plant derived peptides, Collagenesis. The cream can be used both day and night to help keep skin feel softer as well as to even the skin tone and firm the skin. The texture of this cream is unlike any I have tried earlier. It is a little bouncy to the touch but when applied, it melts into the skin leaving it silky smooth. I love the texture and the fragrance of the cream. It is very moisturising.
The age-delay facial serum has three key ingredients - Glacier Water, Snow Algae Powder and Alpine Rose. Wow! According to Skinn, Glacier Water helps to keep the skin moisturised, while the Snow Algae helps to increase the longevity of skin’s smooth, radiant appearance. And Alpine Rose enhances the skin’s natural vitality. The serum has a pale rose pink colour and absorbs easily into the skin without leaving a residue. As you can see in the pictures three of the 4 products come in a pump dispenser, which I like a lot. You can dispense just the right amount of the product and there is no wastage.
The eye serum contains a natural plumping active that is derived from the resin of the Indian tree Guggul. The formula helps to moisturise the skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. When applied in the under-eye area, it makes my skin feel supple and moisturised instantly. Again, it is very easy to apply and doesn't leave any greasy residue.
The Lip Stem Rejen Serum is formulated with a naturally derived active obtained from Sesame seeds. The serum helps to smooth lines around the lip including, marionette and nasolabial folds. The serum has a lovely yellow colour and a very fresh fragrance (kind of mint fresh). As with the other three products you only need a little bit for each application, so I am sure all these products are going to last a long time.
My first impressions on this set have been positive. I like all the 4 products (their texture, ease of application, fragrance), the overall packaging and the moisturising effects. I haven't used it long enough to see any anti-aging benefits but my skin seems to be loving it.
