Raining Cats and Dogs Collection from Helen Russell Creations

On the blog today are a couple of products from the Raining Cats and Dogs collection, featuring the artwork of Helen Russell. Helen is a very talented artist who runs her own creative business and whose quirky characters (Blob Birds, Little Bean Critters, Puffin Cove Colony, Wonder Mice etc.) are very popular. The characters appear both in print and on ceramic and Helen uses these animals and their characteristic behaviours to create lovely scenes.

Judge Table Essentials Range

To keep everything running smoothly in the kitchen you need to have the right kitchen essentials. Judge have an impressive kitchen essentials range with over 100 stylish and classic items. They recently added 21 essential new pieces to their existing range to complement today's tastes. The 21 new pieces include jugs/vases, skillets, teaware, every day bowls and a square platter. I was sent some items from the Judge Essentials range to test and here is what are my thoughts on them.

Judge Table Essentials Jug/Vase

Again with a crisp white, simple design this new addition to Judge's Essentials range is a useful and practical product. The 350ml porcelain jug/vase can be used to serve water or soft drinks or like me you can use it as a vase for flowers. Either ways it is suitable for daily use and can be cleaned easily in the dishwasher. The jug is also oven, microwave and freezer safe.

Stellar Cookware's Rocktanium Saute Pan | Review and a Recipe

The Rocking Pan and Pan Sets from Stellar Cookware are the latest additions to the company's ever-expanding range of cookware. Last year they launched a new non-stick frying pan collection called 'Rocktanium'. I had reviewed this on the blog last year and the frying pan is really hard-wearing. It still makes the fluffiest of omelettes in spite of being put to extensive use for over 14 months.

Following up on the popularity of the Rocktanium collection, Stellar recently launched a new collection of quality non-stick saucepans in a range of essential sizes. I have been testing out the 24cm Saute Pan and I must admit, I have been quite impressed. The pan reflects the high quality that I expect from Stellar Cookware and has been a versatile addition to my kitchen.

Back in April, I had reviewed the Hydro Flask.

Hydro Flasks are vacuum insulated stainless steel bottles. They come in 7 different sizes, with 2 different lid types and a range of colours. We had put the 21 oz. (621ml) Hydro Flask to test and loved it. Today, I have another awesome product from the same brand - the 64 oz. (1.9L) Growler.

The Princeton Tec Backcountry Rechargeable Helix Lantern from Whitby & Co

One of the essentials in any camping gear list is a good lantern. There are many kinds of lanterns available in the market - from traditional gas lanterns to liquid fuel lanterns and easy to use electric lanterns. Our old lantern (although battery operated) was big and bulky. So, when the opportunity arose to trial a lightweight, small rechargeable lantern from  Princeton Tec, I was quite excited. The Princeton Tec Backcountry Rechargeable Helix lantern is a very well designed lantern. It is lightweight and rechargeable with a standard micro-USB port.

The lantern comes nicely packaged and was quite intuitive to use. Also included in the package was a micro-USB charging cable and an operating instructions pamphlet. The charging cable is the same standard one that most of us use for charging mobile phones. The pamphlet contains information about the battery charging, switch operation, the lantern globe, general care and the warranty information.

Radiant Cookware from Judge Kitchenware

A few weeks back I was sent a Judge Non-Stick Stir-Fry Wok to review. The wok came in a box packaging which I liked. If you are purchasing it as a gift for someone, it is easy to gift wrap.

The wok is from Judge Kitchenware's new Radiant range and benefits from Teflon’s very latest Radiance non-stick surface which is PFOA free. This is a 3 layer non-stick which uniquely integrates ferrous particles which accelerate heat transfer through the non-stick layer thus creating a very even heat throughout the pan.

High performance effortless cleaning with the Gtech AirRam MK2

Gtech is a name I only recently heard of. Gtech (Grey Technology) was founded in 2001 by Nick Grey and they developed the world's first cordless power sweeper in 2002. Since then they have developed and launched a number of cordless floor-care and garden products.

We recently got the chance to test Gtech's latest offering - the AirRam MK2, a high performance cordless vacuum cleaner.

Scented Candles from Matalan's Homeware Range

Happy Monday, everyone. In less than a week's time, it will be October. Time has really just flown by! It feels like it was the beginning of 2016 just a while back and here we are moving closer and closer to December. Guess time moves really fast when you are enjoying what you are doing.

Today, I thought I’d share these awesome bargain buys from Matalan with all you candle lovers out there. While I have been to Matalan numerous times, I have always stuck to their clothing section, never really looking into the homeware range they offer. Turns out they have a very nice homeware section which includes an inexpensive range of candles.
