I have long been a fan of Palmer's original cocoa butter range. The range features body lotions, creams, firming butter, bust cream, body oil, foot scrub, hand cream and more. Recently, I received a fab bundle of hair care products from Palmer's Olive Oil range. Until then, I wasn't aware that they had a Olive Oil formula as well.
The products that I was sent included a smoothing shampoo, a replenishing conditioner, a leave-in conditioner, a conditioning spray oil, a dry oil mist and a deep conditioner.
The range is targeted at frizz-prone hair and that is why I was excited to put it to test as my hair tends to go frizzy. While I have tried all the products, it is the shampoo and conditioners that I have used the maximum and I love them.
The Smoothing Shampoo contains extra Virgin Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Keratin Amino Acids as some of the key ingredients and is a moisture rich formula. It lathers well, smells lovely and leaves the hair softer and smoother. Use the Replenishing Conditioner in conjunction with the shampoo and the product adds extra bounce and softness to the hair making it easier to style.
The Leave-in Conditioner contains Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Keratin and Silk Proteins as the star ingredients and it helps control fizz, detangles hair while also acting as a heat protectant from styling damage. I use a lot of hair masks and conditioning products but always tend to keep away from leave-in conditioners as I feel that they somehow make my hair go limp and greasy. But this one from Palmer's is different. A squirt of this over towel-dried hair and it leaves my hair healthy and silky and no heaviness or greasiness.
The Deep Conditioner is another fab product. The rich and creamy, deep conditioner is packed with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and fortified with Palmer's exclusive Botanical Scalp Complex blend to provide essential vitamins and minerals and intensive conditioning to dry, damaged and/or frizz prone hair. My hair loved this.
Next up are the dry oil mist and the conditioning spray oil, both great products.
The conditioning spray oil contains Vitamins A, B and E and antioxidants that instantly restores moisture to dry hair. You need just a little bit for each application - a few drops into palm; and then apply it lightly to scalp and hair as needed. Keeps the hair soft and shiny.
The dry oil mist is a weightless formula that leaves rehydrates hair and leaves it manageable and shiny.
Overall, a fantastic range of hair care products that my frizz-prone hair loves.
