  15. I do love a road trip as long as you are prepared! My most memorable was going to see family at Christmas the traffic was terrible and I actually passed my parents as they had broken down at the side of the motorway, but I couldn't get to them. The trip took 4 times longer than it should have. My sister in law got stuck in it too and heavily pregnant. Luckily it was 2 days later she gave birth in a mere 2 hours 2 weeks early! Luckily it wasn't in the car on the M25!

  28. I'm not a fan of road trips, partly because we both hate driving and partly because we also both hate living out of suitcases. We've only done one which was around Arizona, Nevada and California. Although it was exciting and fascinating, we vowed never to do another.

  60. We took a road trip along the north coast through Devon to Cornwall a few years ago, when the kids were young. The thought of some of the steep climbs and narrow, windy roads we had to go along still give me the heebie-jeebies to this day. Kids loved though and the views were stunning!
