Yay! It's my first post for 2015. Before I move on to the review, a very happy new year to all of you.

December is a month of celebration, festivities and parties. Family get-togethers, work parties and late nights celebrating special occasions mean missed sleep. And in my case, if I clock less than my regular sleeping hours for a few days on the trot then the effects show up on my skin. Skin becomes dull, there is no glow and the under-eye area looks tired and dark. Do you face the same problems? Does your skin too show signs of post-party exhaustion? Worry not. I have just the right products for you - the DHC Revitalizing Moisture Strips for Eyes and the DHC Bio Cellulose Mask for the face. I have reviewed the face mask earlier on the blog and will review the eye moisture strips today.

The DHC Revitalizing Moisture Strips(Eyes) are soft, comfortable polymer gel strip masks for the vulnerable under-eye area. According to DHC they deliver nourishing ingredients that work to alleviate dark circles and reduce puffiness – in just 20 minutes. After washing and toning the face, remove the strips from the backing and apply under your eyes. You can then leave it on for 20–30 minutes or overnight if your eyes require more conditioning. Once done, gently peel off the strips. Suggested usage is 1–2 times a week.

I have used these eye moisture strips a few times over the past month. I never left them on overnight, not because they are uncomfortable but simply because I would have sub-consciously peeled them off in the sleep. I used them during the day, leaving them on for 4-5 hours at a stretch. I have used other under-eye masks/strips earlier and this one, by far, is the most easiest one to apply. No mess at all and fits perfectly under my eyes. Initially there is a cooling sensation which gradually wears off. The strip feels comfortable all the time it is on my face and caused me no irritation. When I removed the strips the under-eye area appeared hydrated and smooth. While the fine lines were still there(I did not expect them to disappear in any case), they did appear a little less prominent which could be due to the intense hydration effect of the eye strips. I like these eye moisture strips both for the effects(even if they are temporary) and for the convenience and ease of use.

A handy tip I would suggest is to put the eye moisture strip sachet in the fridge for a while before using it. The cooling sensation is magnified and it also offers the benefits of a cold compress, soothing sore or puffy eyes. The under-eye strips are priced at £7.95 for a box of 6 pairs, but is currently on sale for £6.75 at DHC UK.
