The weather is so crazy these days. The unpredictable, fluctuating weather has made my skin extremely dull despite the regular moisturisation routine I am following. I have tweaked my skin care routine for Winter by moving onto thicker and intensely moisturising lotions and creams. Light-weight face creams and lotions have taken a back seat. One thing that has stayed in my skin care routine though is the face mask. While face masks are essential any time of the year, they become even more beneficial in winter when skin tends to become dry and dull. A good face mask is a must-have as it not only gives a hydrating boost to the skin but also helps you get ready for the party season. And my skin saviour mask has been the DHC Bio Cellulose Mask.

Hydrating DHC Bio Cellulose Mask

According to the makers "Hydrating DHC Bio Cellulose Mask is made with refreshing cellulose from fermented coconut water. It features soothing Neem leaf, conditioning shell ginger, hydrating amino acids and antioxidant Vitamin C and has been formulated to lock in moisture for superior hydration. The mask conforms closely to your face, so the gel mask more effectively delivers beneficial botanicals to keep skin hydrated longer."

The mask like any other sheet mask is simple to use. Cleanse your face thoroughly before applying the mask. Remove the protective films(there are 2; one on each side of the actual mask) and place the mask on your face. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Remove and massage the remaining fluid onto your skin. You can follow up with your regular skincare products, if needed. A lot of the hydrating gel remains in the sachet. You can store it in the fridge and use it later. Coming to the results I achieved with the mask - it left my skin looking fresh and revitalised. I have sensitive facial skin and the mask did not irritate my skin. There was even a temporary plumpness and the skin felt very smooth. Perfect for dull, dry or dehydrated skin, the DHC Bio Cellulose Mask(£7.50) is a quick-fix to get hydrated, fresh skin and can be picked up online from www.dhcuk.co.uk
