I love it when I discover a new brand that I have never heard of before. And it is even more exciting when the brand have a wonderful story to tell. The brand I am talking about today is Thomas J Fudge. And no, they do not make fudge. They make biscuits.

In the year 1916 Thomas J Fudge opened a rather remarkable bakery in Dorset. And more than 90 years later, the company is still running as a family business. Thomas J Fudges make both savoury and sweet biscuits. Their savoury range includes buttery Pufferies, moreish Melts and scrumptious Shards while their sweet biscuits range includes flapjacks, florentines, fruit and nut delights and other special delicacies. I recently tried out some of their savoury biscuits: Crispy Layered Cheddar & Chive Pufferies, Crisp & Savoury Seed & Oat Flats and the Rich & Flaky Cheddar Melts.

Let me begin with the packaging. The boxes are gorgeous. I absolutely loved the illustration on each box. The colour combinations and the artistic graphics are wonderful. And the fact that it comes with a lovely tray inside means, no extra plates so no extra washing up. I love little thoughtful features like these. Ok, moving on to the goodies inside. One bite and I was hooked. These biscuits are cheesy and packed full of flavour. My favourite of the three that I tried was the Cheddar Melts. What a lovely kick these melts had. Mr. H loved the Cheddar & Chive Pufferies. The Crisp & Savoury Seed & Oat Flats were crunchy with an amazing flavour.

In my opinion these biscuits are perfect to add to your cheese board or to jazz  up your nibbles section while entertaining. They are wonderful even without any dip. All you need is a glass of wine and you are all set. Overall, all the three are excellent savoury biscuits and I will be trying out the others in the range as well.

All the savoury biscuits are priced under £3.00 and this makes them a winner. Quality at an affordable price. I would recommend this savoury range from Thomas J Fudges if you are a lover of savoury biscuits.

You can pick up the Thomas J Fudge's range online or from Waitrose, Tesco, Booths and Ocado.
