The Carl Oehl Cocktail is a drink that is very popular in a small town in Iowa. To make Carl Oehl, you will need the following:
90ml Vodka
60ml Tonic water
15ml Lemon juice
15ml Lime juice

A quick and simple cocktail, this one is best served in an old-fashioned glass, however I went for a wine glass instead ;-) Pour the Vodka into the glass. Add 2-3 ice cubes if you wish to. Top with the Tonic water, lemon juice and lime juice. Garnish with a slice of lime and serve. The choice of Vodka and Tonic water is entirely up to your choice. I selected Fever-Tree's Naturally Light Tonic Water which combines fruit sugars with citrus, aromatic botanicals and soft spring water. This one has a crisp taste balanced by the bitterness of natural quinine. Perfect for the cocktail. And with 45% fewer calories than most other tonic waters this one is the world's first, all natural lower calorie tonic water.

Fever-Tree launched in the UK in early 2005 make premium tonic water that contain no artificial sweeteners, preservatives or flavourings. High quality quinine is blended with spring water and eight botanical flavours to produce the highly carbonated tonic. The product range also includes Bitter Lemon, a Lemonade, a Ginger Ale and a Ginger Beer and the world’s first all-natural lower calorie tonic water which I used in my cocktail above.

What is your favourite cocktail? Have you tried Fever -Tree products?
