Barefoot SOS Face & Body Rescue Cream

With the heating being cranked up due to the cold weather, my skin has been going dry no matter how much I moisturise. I prefer not to use facial oils during the day, even though they would provide good moisturisation as I simply do not want a shiny face. And then I came across Barefoot SOS Face & Body Rescue Cream which is targeted at dry and sensitive skin. Problem solved!!

Combining the highest quality botanical extracts, pure natural moisturisers and the finest essential oils this cream provides welcome relief for problem skin like mine. Some of the main ingredients in this cream are:
- Stellaria (Chickweed) and Burdock Botanical Extracts: Cools, comforts and soothes irritation.
- Macadamia and Evening Primrose Oils: Deeply moisturises and restores parched skin.
- Purslane Botanical Extract: Helps soften and protect dry skin.
- Pure Essential Oils of Neroli and Chamomile: Nurtures the skin with a soft aroma.

My experience: This highly moisturising cream smells gorgeous - it has a mild, pleasant citrusy kind of fragrance . It is only a week since I have started using this and not only does my skin feel soft and  gorgeous but the cream also keeps dry spots and sore patches at bay. Not all of my face goes dry; it is only some areas like the edges of the ears and the area around the nose which start drying and peeling. I apply the cream to the problem areas regularly and it soothes and moisturises well - so no more itching. The cream is perfect for sensitive skin like mine and can even be used on babies. It leaves the skin hydrated and protects against winter weather.

If you have sensitive, irritated skin or suffer from eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis, then this cream is for you. Even if you have none of the above, this cream will still work nicely to hydrate and moisturise  wind-chapped or dry skin. No wonder it won the Best FreeFrom Skincare Product Award for 2013.
