Yves Rocher Summer Fragrances: Monoï Eau des Vahinés and Evidence Homme Green EDT

The sky is blue, the sun is shining bright and I can hear birds chirping. I love summer! Who doesn't? Now that the weather is getting warmer, I am gravitating towards fresh and light fragrances. For the past couple of weeks I have been wearing Monoï Eau des Vahinés (EDT) from Yves Rocher. Yves Rocher have a large selection of fragrances ranging from fresh scents to classic fragrances.

Monoï Eau des Vahinés EDT from Yves Rocher

The Monoï EDT can be summed up as a tropical paradise in a bottle. It is a sensual fragrance that is initially a little strong (albeit in a nice way) but not overpowering or heavy. It is sweet and floral - Tiare and Ylang Ylang flowers mixed together in a coconut and vanilla base. The warmer the weather, more the intensity of the fragrance. When I spray it on I feel like I am in a garden filled with summer flowers. The EDT brings with it a calmness and every time I have used this, I have received compliments. The packaging is simple and for the price it is currently available at (£13.50/100ml instead of £27.00), it is a wonderful buy. If you are looking for an exotic and tropical scent this summer, go for Monoï. It is perfect for a beach vacation.

Botanical-based ingredients: Coconut oil and tiare flower extract.

Comme Une Evidence Homme Green EDT

Another Summer scent from Yves Rocher is the Comme Une Evidence Homme Green EDT for men. As the name suggests it is a fresh, green scent that uses the aromatic qualities of mint, sage, bergamot, patchouli and lime. The EDT is unmistakably masculine and as I love men's fragrances, I borrowed this from Mr.H a few times. The longevity is acceptable and being a lover of all things fresh and natural, I enjoyed this scent's woody, earthy and fresh scent. It smells wonderful on Mr.H and according to him it is a nice, summery fragrance suitable both for daytime and evening use. The EDT is currently available for £17.50 instead of £31.00 on the Yves Rocher website.

Key botanicals: Bergamot Essential Oil, Lime Essential Oil, Green Mandarin Essential Oil, Mint Essential Oil, Clary Sage Essential Oil, Patchouli Essential Oil and Guaiac Wood Essential Oil (Paraguay).

Do either of these fragrances from Yves Rocher sound like your kind of perfume? What’s your current favourite fragrance?
