I tried out three 'new to me' products in August, two from brands I have used earlier and one from a brand I hadn't heard of previously and all three are fab products that I highly recommend.

Matrix Opticare Smooth Straight Split End Serum

Matrix was founded by the American hairdresser, Arnie Miller in 1980. Matrix's product range which includes haircare, colour, style, and texturing products as well as unique in-salon treatments are mainly targeted at beauty salons but you can also buy these products online. I picked up their professional split end serum which is a light, non-greasy formula that helps repair frayed tips while also smoothing frizz and flyaways to leave hair silky smooth. I had my hair cut at the of July and since then I have been using this serum and it has worked wonderfully well. I haven't noticed any split ends so far and the serum works well to tame frizz. And you need very little for each application, so I see this bottle lasting a good few months.

Matrix products are available online on Amazon and Ebay.

Anma Massage Gel

ANMA Rosemary & Eucalyptus Revive Massage Gel

Created with the finest ingredients, Anma massage oils/gels are excellent products for a spa session at home. With a combination of unique ingredients, Anma'a products are designed to revitalise your senses and well-being while leaving the skin silky soft and beautifully scented. There are currently six products available - 5 massage oils and a massage gel.

I have been using the massage gel and it is fab. The gel contains energy-boosting Rosemary Oil and stimulating & awakening Eucalyptus Oil. It has a cooling effect and revives and refreshes while also relieving stress and anxiety.  And the fragrance is lovely! A wonderful product, overall.

You can buy it from www.anma-beauty.com

L’Erbolario Lemon Hand Cream

L’Erbolario is a leader in the Italian market in the industry of plant-derived cosmetics and in the UK, they have their only store in Islington. Their Jade Plant fragrance is one of my favourites. Featured in this roundup is their lemon hand cream which contains lemon extract and vegetable glycerin and helps protect the skin against dehydration. A small amount is enough to moisturise the hands. It is easily absorbed, and leaves the skin pleasantly soft and hydrated.

Available from www.erbolario.co.uk

Have you tried any of these brands? Got any favourites?
