Founded by Franco Bergamaschi and his wife Daniela Villa, in Italy in 1978, L’Erbolario is a leader in the Italian market in the industry of plant-derived cosmetics. Today their products are sold and popular all over the world. Even after so many years, the brand still holds on to their original philosophy which is 'maximum respect towards nature combined with the most up-to-date technology and knowledge'.
In the UK, L’Erbolario have their only store in Islington although you will find their products online and in some pharmacies and gift shops. Recently, L’Erbolario launched a new a new perfume range - Jade Plant. In addition to the perfume, the range also includes a bath/shower gel, a body cream and a face/hand wash.
I tried out the new Jade Plant fragrance and I have to say it is a fabulous fragrance. L’Erbolario describe the scent as a 'super fresh fragrance, offering all its charm and positive energy to the person wearing it'. And I totally agree. It is a very fresh fragrance that leaves you feeling positive and happy!
The fragrance is floral, but the initial impact is citrus (lemon, bergamot and bitter orange) followed by a heart of rose, jade, magnolia and violet, and finally the base notes of white musk, amber and white tea. A really beautiful scent!
