On the blog today are a couple of products from the Raining Cats and Dogs collection, featuring the artwork of Helen Russell. Helen is a very talented artist who runs her own creative business and whose quirky characters (Blob Birds, Little Bean Critters, Puffin Cove Colony, Wonder Mice etc.) are very popular. The characters appear both in print and on ceramic and Helen uses these animals and their characteristic behaviours to create lovely scenes.
The new Raining Cats & Dogs collection is inspired by traditional toys of the years gone by and features homeware like jugs, mugs, coasters and a tea towel! Illustrated with a number of pull-along wooden toys, the collection is cheerful and is sure to remind you of your carefree childhood days.

I have the 1 pint jug and the tea towel and love them both. The print is cute and appealing and every time I look at the jug, it puts a smile on my face. The jug is made with fine bone china and are ideal for serving custard or sauces and are equally nice for displaying flowers. The jug comes in a lovely gift box and is dishwasher and microwave safe.
