A while back we received some car care products from Astonish. We have (or rather Mr.H has) tried most of them in the past few weeks and we score them well both on performance and price. Astonish are a family owned company that have been producing cleaning products for a very long time now. Not only are their products value for money, in addition they have been approved by Cruelty Free International and the Vegetarian Society. Astonish's range of products covers bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, dish washing, floors and carpets, household & furniture and even hand washes!
As mentioned in the beginning, we tried some of the products from their car care range.
- Vinyl Trim & Dashboard Cleaner: Specifically formulated to clean and protect the interior trim of cars. It has a built-in anti-static agent that reduces the build up of dust.
- Crystal Clear Wash & Wax: Gives an outstanding cleaning performance leave the car with a streak free shine.
- Anti-fog Glass Cleaner: It has a powerful cleaning action that lifts and removes grease and dirt leaving surfaces clean. Added benefit of a built-in anti-fogging agent helps prevent misting.
- Wheel Cleaner: Removes dirt, brake dust and oil from all types of car wheels. It has an unique non-acidic formula that can be safely used on alloy, steel and plastic wheels.
- Spray and Shine: As the name indicates, simply spray this product on and wipe it off for a nice shine. Not to be used on windows or windscreens.
- Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner: For use on vehicle carpets, fabric seats and mats. This powerful cleaner penetrates deep into fibres to loosen and lift away dirt and stains. It also neutralises unpleasant odours to leave a fresh scent.
All the products that we tried were good - excellent value for money. The Spray & Shine product is perfect for a quick and easy shine and easily gives a good competition to higher priced products from other brands. The car Wash & Wax product is also excellent. Mr.H wasn't very sure before trying these products as to whether they would work well. But he was pleasantly surprised - both with the results and the price. It looks like he will definitely picking up these products in the future.
