Hope’s Relief are Australia’s No 1 natural, dry skin range and now are also a multi-award winning brand here in the UK. Their products are packed with natural active ingredients like: Hospital Grade Organic Manuka Honey NPA 10+, Gotu Kola, Aloe Vera, Organic Calendula and Licorice Root. Hope’s Relief products aim to soothe and repair damaged skin and are suitable for pregnant women, new-born babies, children and adults alike.

Mr.H suffers from very dry skin. His facial skin is sensitive in addition to being very dry. So, not only does he have to keep his skin moisturised and hydrated but also ensure that the skin and body care products he uses are gentle and non-irritating. The lovely team at Hope’s Relief recently sent us two of their products and Mr.H has been trialling them.

The products we received were:
  • Moisturising Lotion
  • Intensive Dry Skin Rescue
Hope's Relief Moisturising Lotion: Targeted at those prone to eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and dry itchy skin conditions, this daily-use lotion can be used all over body as well as for facial application. It contains Mango Butter, Grape seed extract, Shea Butter, Olive Butter, Gotu Kola, Calendula, Olive Oil and Rose Hip Oil. The lotion has a lovely texture, a very mild (barely discernible) fragrance and sinks in very quickly into the skin. And most importantly, it works. The lotion combats dry, itchy skin and gives a feeling of rich hydration that lasts for long. Mr.H said that his skin never felt so soft and supple as it does after using Hope's Relief products. This lotion is perfect for milder dry skin conditions and for daily use. If you need something more intensive then the cream will work for you.

Hope's Relief Moisturising Lotion and Intensive Dry Skin Rescue Review

Intensive Dry Skin Rescue: This is Australia’s No 1 natural eczema cream. The cream includes hospital grade organic Manuka Honey NPA 10+ and other active ingredients like Aloe Vera, Calendula, Licorice and Gotu Kola to help soothe itchy dry skin prone to eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Both myself and Mr.H put this to test. He targeted the very dry areas of his body and I used it to soothe the itchy skin around my ears. I was using a cortisone based cream for the itchy skin condition but it only gave me temporary relief. The intensive cream from Hope’s Relief has worked wonderfully well for me. The results were not instant but after 4-5 days the redness and itchiness had completely cleared and thankfully has not returned. The cream is thicker than the lotion (as expected) and has a slightly stronger fragrance. But the scent is natural as artificial fragrances are not added in the products. The cream is also easy to apply, gets absorbed quickly, soothes and hydrates the skin without leaving it greasy. Works efficiently and as intended.

Overall, we liked both the products and would not hesitate in recommending them. It is a big plus that the products are free from ingredients such as SLS, parabens, propylene glycol, lanolin, coal tar, artificial colours or fragrances, mineral oils and petrochemicals making them suitable even for sensitive skin.
