Orla Kiely's colourful graphic prints are very well known and much loved. The lovely vintage prints feature on textiles, kitchenware and fashion accessories. To celebrate the five year anniversary of her home fragrance range, Orla Kiely recently re-launched the collection with six new prints and three new fragrances: Orange Rind, Sicilian Lemon and Lavender. The candles are priced at £25.00 (200g) while the diffusers are £32.00 for 200ml.
The Orange Rind candle is made of 100% vegetable wax and is presented in a beautiful glass holder with the Flower Dot print. The scent is a warming luxurious blend of orange rind, sandalwood and eucalyptus essential oils with a hint of nutmeg. When the package arrived I could smell the scent even before unpacking the box - that gives you an indication of the strength of the fragrance. When lit, it is warm, strong and has a hint of spiciness. It is a classy scent - I love it. Also included in the box was a lovely heat protection mat in the same print.
