I have been meaning to publish this article for some time now. Finally, here it is. I love body care and skin care products and these two products from DHC Skincare, that I have been using for some time now, are lovely treats. DHC are a Japanese brand and they create some really fine beauty and skincare products. I love the products from their Beauty Lift series. The products featured today on the blog are from their body care range - the Olive-Corn Body Scrub & Polish and the Olive Body Butter.

DHC Skincare Olive-Corn Body Scrub & Polish and Olive Body Butter

The Olive-Corn Body Scrub & Polish (200gm, £15.50) is a micro bead-free exfoliating scrub that not only sloughs off dead skin cells but also moisturises your skin leaving it soft and cleansed. The scrub's exfoliating action is courtesy of the small and large granules of corn cob powder that gently exfoliate without any irritation. The presence of Olive oil and nourishing Vitamin E ensures that skin is hydrated. And Lavender Oil leaves you with an invigorating natural fragrance. The scrub is not harsh but strong enough to do its job effectively. It lathers well, feels good on the skin and bonus points as it doesn't dry out my skin. I also like the tube packaging - it is so much easier to use than scrubs which come in tubs/jars.

The Olive Body Butter (100gm, £17.00) is a luxurious body butter packed with ingredients like Shea butter, Olive oil, Coconut oil, Avocado oil, Squalane and Argan oil. It is perfect for use after having used the scrub & polish or whenever you find that your skin is looking/feeling dry. It applies very easily and gets absorbed quickly as well. It doesn't leave any residue behind, only soft and moisturised skin. And the fragrance is lovely - a delicate and pleasant scent of green apples and roses.

I liked both the products - the packaging is simple but nice and the products effective at what they are supposed to do. I am impressed with both the products and should you want to try them, you can pick them up here.

What do you think of these products? Have you tried anything from DHC Skincare?
