I have thin, dry and frizz-prone hair. Unless straightened they tend to go wavy especially in damp weather. I usually opt for Brazilian Keratin treatment which removes most of the frizz and then I use the straightening iron at home to keep my hair manageable. I need to condition my hair frequently as it needs that extra bit of care. The hair treatments and styling do take their toll. So, when the CO Light Smoothing Argan Oil landed on my desk, I couldn't wait to try it.

CO by Andrew Collinge is a range of styling products that you can use to control and style your hair. The Light Smoothing Argan Oil (£15.00, 115ml) is one of the products from this range and it assists with quick and easy blow drying as well as conditioning and adding shine to hair.

How to use

There are two ways to use the oil:
  1. Rub a little product in the palms of your hands and apply to washed and towel dried hair.
  2. Apply a small amount of the oil to dry hair to reduce frizz and control flyaways.

I have been mostly using it as directed in the first step. After washing and towel drying my hair I rub a little of the CO Argan Oil through my hair. I then blow dry it. I also use a little amount of the oil before I straighten my hair. I have noticed that the oil keeps frizz and stray flyaways under control. The oil is light, silky, non-sticky and has a very natural fragrance. It works well for my dry and frizz-prone hair.
