Scruffs are the UK's leading workwear brand in terms of style, function and performance. Having used Scruff's Expedition Tech Jacket earlier and loving it, Mr.H was more than happy to put their Pro Softshell Jacket to test. Although it is marketed as a technical work jacket, the Scruffs Pro Softshell jacket can be worn by anyone as a casual wear jacket.
The jacket has multiple secure zip pockets. Reflective detailing has been added to the jacket without going overboard. The reflective details not only provide added safety and visibility but also manage to become a part of the overall jacket design. The colour combination - black (outside) and orange (inside) also works well. The cuffs are adjustable and the jacket has a drawstring bottom. The jacket can be zipped right up to the neck ensuring that you stay warm and are protected from the wind.
The fleece softshell fabric on the inside has a luxurious feel and is perfect to keep you moderately warm while the waterproof exterior keeps you protected from wind and showers. When the weather worsens you will need a more insulated jacket but for the current weather conditions, this softshell jacket is ideal.
Mr.H has been enjoying wearing this softshell jacket. According to him, the jacket is practical, well-made, comfortable to wear and stylish as well. Needless to say he is highly impressed with Scruffs and cannot recommend the brand enough.
