Aromatherapy Spritzes from Base Formula

I love a good Aromatherapy Spritz. Not only do they make use of good quality essential oils but are also free from chemical additives and can be used in a multitude of ways - as a personal body spray, bed and linen spray, room mist and even a car air freshener. Base Formula (located in Leicestershire) are suppliers of essential oils, carrier/massage oils, cosmetic bases and aromatherapy skincare products. They recently launched a new range of professionally blended Aromatherapy Spritzes featuring three sprays - Focus, Balance and Sweet Dreams. I have been using two of these spritzes from Base Formula and really like them. Read on to know which of the two is my favourite.

Both the Aromatherapy sprays are blended with Orange Flower Hydrolat and other pure essential oils and can be used as room fragrances in addition to other specific uses for each of them.

First is the Sweet Dreams spritz which contains pure essential oils of Lavender, Chamomile, Frankincense and Cedar wood and aids in relaxation. This is the spritz you need if you want to relax and encourage a good night's sleep. The Sweet Dreams spritz can also be used when one is feeling stressed or tense. Lavender and Chamomile essential oils offer soothing and calming effects while Frankincense essential oil induces a sense of peace and calm. I spritz this spray on the bed linen and in the bedroom a little while before I head to sleep. The fragrance is pleasing, not too overpowering and I have noticed that it helps me calm down and relax.

The second spritz that I tried and also my favourite of the two is the Balance Spritz. In addition to Orange Flower Hydrolat the spray contains pure essential oils of Neroli, Bergamot, Sweet Orange and Petit grain. This one is an uplifting yet calming blend! It is ideal for soothing nerves, stress and tension or to simply make things more positive. I love this spritz. It has such a cheery and positive effect. In addition to its effects, I am slightly more drawn to it because it contains two of my favourites - Neroli and Bergamot. I tend to use this more as a body spray than as a room fragrance although it works beautifully as a room mist too.
