Stocking Filler Ideas from Docteur Renaud

Docteur Renaud, the skin care range from France, have three Discovery Kits which could make great stocking filler gifts for Christmas this year. Priced at £9.00 each the three kits are:
  • Carrot Discovery Kit
  • Iris Anti-Ageing Discovery Kit
  • My Glowing Complexion Discovery Kit

I have tried the Carrot Glowing Complexion Kit which includes:
  • Carrot Scrub Detox 20ml : This a fresh and creamy scrub that gets rid of impurities and is said to removes toxins. It is mildly abrasive, has a lovely, sweet fragrance and worked well on my sensitised skin. It leaves the skin smooth. I could see the difference after a couple of uses. Definitely my favourite product from the kit.
  • Carrot Anti-Pollution Radiance Cream 5ml : With Organic Carrot Extract, Fresh Carrot Cells, Vitamin E and C and Brown Algae Extract, this day cream is said to smooth the complexion and restore vitality making the skin smooth and radiant.
  • Carrot Renewing Night Cream 5ml : It has a lovely texture and has a triple action formula - it detoxifies, oxygenates and regenerates the skin as you sleep. With active ingredients like fresh carrot cells, Vit E, Chestnut exctract and Barbary Fig exctract among others, this night cream ensures that you wake up with fresh, soft skin.
While I loved the texture, the fragrance and the ease of application of both the creams and also noticed that it left my skin soft and hydrated, I did not notice any brightening or glowing effect. Understandably one would need to use the product long term to perhaps notice major differences.

So, what do you think of this Discovery Kit? Wouldn't this make a great beauty stocking filler? It is also an excellent and affordable way to try out products from Docteur Renaud. You can purchase this set from Skin Evolution (www.skinevolution.co.uk) who are the sole UK distributor for the Docteur Renaud skin care range.
