Last week I received a beautiful parcel from Buckley London who have won the prestigious award for 'Best Costume Jewellery' four times at the UK Jewellery awards. Buckley London was established by Adrian Buckley in 1989 and are well known for their costume and fashion jewellery, featuring necklaces, rings, earrings, wedding jewellery, pendants and bangles. Their collections are currently stocked at over 600 international retail locations including 100 airports around the globe.
I was sent two pieces of jewellery from their impressive collection - Grace Sparkle Acorn Earrings from the Rose Gold collection and the Ariel Multi-pearl Necklace.
The Grace Sparkle Acorn earrings(£25.00) are stunning! I love simple and dainty jewellery and this one fits the bill perfectly. The drop earrings have been hand set with clear crystals and have a lovely rose gold plating. Acorn symbolizes luck, prosperity and strength and that is why it is often used as a charm on chains and bracelets. While I do not know if the Acorn earrings will bring me good luck, I can confidently say that I can see myself wearing these earrings frequently as they are incontestably beautiful - a mix of delicate and fashionable.
The Ariel Necklace (£45.00 Now £22.50) is a stunning Mother of Pearl necklace featuring pearls in grey, cream and metallic tones with a lovely soft lustre. The necklace length is 16" and the weight and feel on the neckline is comfortable. The pearls are uniform and well tied, secure and sealed with an intricate, vintage look clasp. For the price the necklace is sold at and for what they are(fashion jewellery), these are very nice. If you are looking for something to send someone as a gift, then this necklace would be a good choice.
