March 2015 Degustabox

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you probably already know about my love for the monthly subscription food box - Degustabox. The March Degustabox was excellent - a wonderful surprise, the box was packed with some really tasty delights. I tend not to look at Degustabox's Twitter feed or Facebook page on the day delivery is expected, as I like to retain the surprise element :) I received an email with the delivery details and was waiting excitedly for the box to arrive. As soon as I opened the March box I was grinning from ear to ear because the box was packed with awesome goodies. Let's have a look at what was in the box.

Let me begin with the drinks. There were two bottles of Juice Burst. Cranberry from the 'Original' range and 'Mango & Lime' from the Skinny range. While both were delicious I enjoyed 'Mango & Lime' more. It was delicious and only 99 calories per bottle. This is something I see myself drinking regularly from now on. There were 2 bottles of Crabbie's Fruits(Alcoholic). Yay! I really love these and they are a regular in my household. I received 'Raspberry & Rhubarb' and 'Black Cherry' and as you guessed it, the bottles went straight to the fridge ready to be consumed in the evening.

Next up, there was a large bag of Jordans Strawberry and Blueberry Lighter granola. I enjoy my breakfast cereals, so was happy to see this packet which contains 30% less fat than the normal version. I haven't tried this yet but will do so when my current pack of bran flakes (I love love love bran flakes) ends. There was also a small pack of Natvia 100% natural sweetener. Last year there was a phase in my life when I was using a lot of natural sweeteners instead of sugar, but then I decided that I do not like them anymore and stopped using them completely. I am not sure if I will give this a go, Mr.H might.

If you are looking for lunch on the go or simply a yummy snack, then the Kents Kitchen Posh Noodles pot is what you need. With only 222 calories and made with all natural ingredients, these noodle pots are convenient and filling as well. The Brioche Pasquier Baked Bread Bites were delicious. I had one pack as a snack and I made use of the other in a salad. Another interesting product was a bottle of BBQUE barbecue sauce which isn't yet available in the UK. It is a lovely sauce flavoured with  cranberries, beer, honey and applesauce. You can use it for grilling, marinating or dipping. And it smells delicious. I am looking forward to using this.

There were two bags of sweets - Maynards Sour Patch Kids and Bassetts Jelly Babies Berry Mix. And two packets of Lindt Lindor assorted mini eggs(milk, white and dark chocolate). Mr.H loved the milk chocolate eggs while I loved the dark chocolate ones. Yummy. These eggs might be mini in size but they are very rich and luxurious, so best eaten in moderation. Easier said than done :)
