Holiday treats can pop up anywhere - on a co-worker's desk, by post, at the local corner shop and even in your local surgery as I found out recently. It becomes a little difficult to stay true to ones regular diet and most of us must have found ourselves indulging a little bit during the festive season - eating and drinking more than what we would normally do. I, for one, find it difficult to say 'no' to a friend or relative's well-meaning offer of festive treats, more so if the treat is homemade :) The fact that I have a sweet tooth makes it a little more harder to refuse. You need to dissolve one sachet into a small glass of cold water or juice either just before eating or following a meal. I prefer drinking it before my meal dissolved in a glass of plain, cold water. The reason I opted for it as pre-meal drink is because I found that it kind of makes me feel full and so I avoid over eating later. It tastes like a mild fruit drink mixed with chewable Vitamin tablet :) But I am fine with the taste. In terms of effectiveness - I do not know what the friendly bacteria achieved inside my body but the drink did keep my digestive system working fine even as I indulged a bit during the holidays.
