milk_shake is a salon professional hair care brand. They have a complete range of hair care products(shampoo, conditioner, intensive hair treatments and hair styling products) that are made with a mix of ingredients including milk protein that is said to be heavenly food for your hair! Today's post is a quick review of two samples from this brand that I recently tried out - milk_shake Active Milk Mask and Incredible Milk.

milk_shake Active Milk Mask and Incredible Milk.

milk_shake Active Milk Mask is a restructuring milk mask for dry or damaged hair. It contains natural milk proteins, vitamins, rice and avocado oils and claims to moisturize and add a natural shine to hair. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length and dry/damaged; the roots tend to be a greasy though. I used this milk mask after washing my hair with my regular shampoo. It has a thick(not overly thick) texture and delicate sweet scent - like sweetened milk cream or condensed milk :) Easy to apply and wash off as well, the mask left my hair smooth and soft. Loved the silky feeling which lasted for a couple of days.

I used Incredible Milk on another occasion. This one is an intense leave-in spray mask treatment that has 12 actions on the hair! Yes, it claims to do a whole lot of things including protecting from heat, detangling, creating body and volume, controlling frizz and preventing split ends among other things. This one had a runny texture compared to the milk mask. The full sized product comes in a spray bottle which would be easier to apply. The sample was in a sachet and I found the application a bit messy. The spray has a sweet, milky vanilla fragrance like the milk mask and did leave my hair soft and smooth even if the application was difficult. I cannot comment on certain aspects like preventing split ends etc., but full marks for leaving my hair smooth and frizz-free.

Overall, both the products would work well for those with dry hair. I liked the milk mask a lot, so would purchase that. What do you think of these 2 products?  Have you tried these or any other products from milk_shake hair care range?
