Bio2Your Organic Seabuckthorn Face Scrub and Face Mask

The Seabuckthorn range from Bio2You helps to prevent and reduce wrinkles and smile lines while also helping to delay premature ageing, particularly on facial areas. I have used products from Bio2You earlier and have loved it. The two products that I am talking about today use Seabuckthorn as a key ingredient. Seabuckthorn is known to help slow the ageing process and also treat minor skin blemish issues and flare ups.

I tried out the following:
Organic Sea Buckthorn Facial Scrub (100ml, £19.95 £9.95) and
Organic Radiant Skin Mask with Sea Buckthorn and Hyaluronic Acid (50ml, £24.95 £12.45)

The facial scrub comes in a 100ml tube and is said to effectively remove residues and dead skin cells leaving your skin soft, smooth and radiant. As with any face scrub, gently massage a little bit of the product over cleansed skin and then rinse thoroughly with warm water. The texture of the scrub is gritty albeit very fine and gentle. It did not irritate my skin and left it smooth and supple which can be attributed to the presence of Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil and Shea butter. The scrub also contains Vitamin E to moisturise and keep the skin young looking. You can see the entire ingredients list below.

I love the glass bottle packaging used for the face mask. The pump dispenser ensures that the right amount of product is dispensed and there is no wastage. It is mess-free unlike face masks which come in a tube packaging. The mask is pale cream in colour and applies easily. You need to apply a thin coating over your cleansed skin avoiding the eye and lip area. Let the mask stay for around 20 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water. Used in conjunction with the scrub it leaves the skin clean and soft.  The mask contains Hyaluronic Acid which helps to naturally hydrate the skin and extracts of Gingko Biloba, Horsetail extracts and Mallow to increase circulation and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. You can see the complete ingredient list for the mask below.

As you would have noticed from the list of ingredients, it is a whole lot of natural organic ingredients. While this is what offers the maximum benefit to the skin, the only minor drawback is the smell. It smells 'organic', if you get what I mean. If you have used any pure organic skincare product, you will be aware of the typical natural fragrance. While it is not unpleasant, some may not enjoy the fragrance. Having said that, this aspect will not stop me from purchasing the range.

Overall, I like how both these products make my skin feel - soft and supple. If I had to choose a favourite between the two, I would go for the scrub :)

If you are looking to try out organic skincare products, you can try this range. It is also good to know that all Bio2You products are free from Parabens, SLS, artificial fragrances and colours and are not tested on animals. So, that's a whole lot of reasons for you to  explore the Bio2You range. Check them out here.
