Are you looking for some lovely, summery colours for your nails this season? Then you should check out the Spring/Summer 2014 range from Zoya. Zoya have launched 2 collections called 'Tickled' and 'Bubbly' each containing 6 lovely colours. The 'Bubbly' Collection comprises of six jelly-based polishes that have lovely golden shimmer and iridescent glitters. The colours have been given really feel-good names : Jesy - Alma - Harper - Binx - Muse - Stassi

All the colours are holographic and perfect to add some sparkle to your summer evenings. I got the chance to try out 2 colours from the 'Bubbly' range - 'Harper' and 'Stassi'. Both are cool toned colours and go from sheer to opaque in 3+ coats. The colours go on smoothly and are actually quite fun to apply.

The colours have tiny gold glitters and a slightly larger holographic glitter :) In spite of the glitter, the colours are pretty smooth to the touch once applied. You can seal it off with a top coat to get the perfect smooth finish.

'Harper' - One of the first things to come to my mind when you say summer is - Pink Cotton Candy. This colour is just like that. Beautiful and bright jelly pink colour that is spun with some gold shimmer. With 2 coats you get a good coverage though you can opt for more opacity with 3 coats. If you love pink, then this is a must for you.

'Stassi' - When I saw this colour in the bottle I assumed it would be brilliant citron green on application. However even with 3 coats(that's what I normally go for) it was still somewhat sheer. Nonetheless I loved it and mainly because green is one of my favourite colours and I also loved the mix of blue and gold glitters in this colour. If you look at the close-ups you can see the blue. Doesn't it look lovely on the green?

Overall, both the colours are lovely though 'Stassi' tops as my preferred colour. There are some other lovely colours in this range. 'Jesy' and 'Alma' look like colours I would like too, especially 'Alma' which is so golden - almost like capturing sunshine on your nails :) All Zoya products are eco friendly and not tested on animals. Apart from this new range, Zoya has over 500 other shades all of which are free of toluene, formaldehyde and camphor. You can check out the entire Zoya range here: www.zoyapolish.co.uk
