One of the most common worries of ageing is the problem of wrinkles. Age though is not the sole cause of wrinkles. Other factors like sun damage, dehydration and smoking also cause wrinkles. An individuals genetic makeup also plays an important role in the appearance of wrinkles. Every year thousands of pounds are spent on research and on developing treatments that will get rid of wrinkles - some taste moderate success while some much more. I was introduced to a lot of new anti-ageing skincare brands at the recently held Anti-Ageing Health & Beauty Show 2014(London Olympia).

The product that I am sharing with you all today is the Super C15 Serum from SkinPep Advanced Anti-Ageing Skincare. I tried out the 7 Day Trial size of the SkinPep® Super C15 - Stabilised Vitamin C Serum. The serum claims to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots.

The serum is:
- Alcohol free
- Does not contain any artificial dyes
- Paraben free
- Hypo-allergenic
- Free from perfumes

Ingredients: Aqua, L-Ascorbic Acid, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Palmitoyl, Pentapeptide-3, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Alpha Tocopherol, Ferulic Acid, Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Glucol, Ethoxydiglycol, Laureth-23

With key ingredients like Vitamin C which inhibits UVA and UVB damage and Hyaluronic Acid which is known to retain moisture thereby offering the skin excellent hydration levels, this serum is perfect for those with photo damaged or maturing skin. You need to apply 2–3 drops of the serum to your face and décolletage. The serum can be used alone or you can follow it up with a moisturizer. It is advisable to start with low amounts of the serum and low frequency of application. If your skin reacts well to the product, you can increase the application amount and the frequency of application. The 7 day trial lasted me 9 days :) I liked the serums light and non-greasy texture. Many serums that I have tried earlier tend to be a little greasy, but this one gets absorbed quickly leaving no trace behind. That in my opinion is a plus point as I can use it in the daytime without making my face look greasy. While I cannot see any major noticeable difference in my fine lines yet; there is definitely an improvement in the skin's texture and hydration levels and I am happy with that. Long term usage might show better and more noticeable results. You can read more about the C15 Serum at skinpep.com.
