One of the best ways to maintain healthy beautiful skin is the regular usage of facial masks. With so many different types of masks out there, it becomes a bit difficult at times to choose the right one. Masks need to be selected based on your skin type. I have combination sensitive skin that changes with seasons and also due to fluctuating hormones. I am not much of a make-up person, I prefer to keep my skin healthy and flaunt the natural look. So, you will find a whole range of face masks in my cupboard.
As our skin ages, I feel it needs more hydration and regeneration as compared to aggressive exfoliation. Recently I was sent a Replenishing Masque from Priori Skincare. This is a brand which I had never used earlier and so was keen to give it a try. The Replenishing Masque is a part of the Advanced AHA Range which combines non-irritating lactic acid(AHA) with an unique multi-functional antioxidant sequence(MFAS) to provide exfoliation and essential skin moisturisation.
The masque claims to instantly moisturize and helps replenish the skins natural barrier function while revitalising the skin for a smoother, supple complexion. With a pH of 4.0 and containing Vitamins A.C.E and Pro-A to fight environmental damage, this masque leaves your akin looking radiant.
The masque comes in a 120ml tube and is very pale pastel green in colour with a slightly creamy texture. I use it once a week, applying it in a thick layer evenly over my face and neck. I then leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with warm water. The packaging says that a slight tingling sensation is normal, but I have not experienced it. The masque does not irritate my skin. The masque does leave the skin instantly moisturised and hydrated. I feel this is a good masque for those with dull, dry or maturing skin.
The masque is dermatologically tested and is:
- Fragrance Free
- Paraben Free
- Non-comedogenic
