Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel

As a first-time facial peel user, I was a bit nervous/sceptic as to how my sensitive skin would react to the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel. Having tried the 2-step treatment for sometime now, I can now say that the peel has helped improve the texture of my skin.

The two-step treatment comes in small foil sachets with a square cotton towelette enclosed in each
sachet. Application is simple and easy: Use the towelette in Sachet 1 on clean and dry skin in circular motion covering your face and neck area. You can do it until the towelette feels dry. I felt a slight tingling sensation but no burning. Once done with step 1, wait for 2 minutes. Now repeat the same procedure with the towelette in Sachet 2. You should not rinse your face after either step and also ensure that you do not apply any products that contain alcohol. I generally tend to leave my skin free whenever I use the peel.

What I like?- Pthalate and Paraben Free
- Easy to use. No mess.
- Not tested on animals
Though priced on the higher side, the peel is a wonderful product. Even though this is a daily peel. I have used it every 2 days and it has evened out my skin tone and improved the texture.

Tip: - Always ensure that you use sunscreen the day after you have used this as AHA's can increase sun sensitivity.
- Always do a patch test before using any new product.

And before I sign off, here is what the products website says:
Why Is It Different? Personally formulated by Dr. Gross, this patented two-step system combines refining Alpha Beta® Hydroxy Acids and wrinkle-reducing antioxidants-including Retinol, Ubiquinone, and Resveratrol-to smooth and enrich skin. Eliminates dullness, improves clarity & evens skin tone by using Microexfoliation™, as an alternative to microdermabrasion, to stimulate cell turnover.

You can pick up the daily face peel on Mankind. They also stock a lot of other Dr Dennis Gross products. Let me know if you have tried this face peel or if you are tempted to pick it up.
