I love soaps. Yes, even in this day and age of shower gels and jellies, bath creams and bath bombs, I still love the traditional soap. And if the soap is natural and handmade, then what more could I ask for. Recently, I ordered the Heyland and Whittle - All in Pink! Soap Gift Box for myself :blush: I like to pamper myself now and then; and this gift box looked like the perfect option because I was craving for some change in my bathing routine. I wanted a change from the shower gels and creams I was using.
Let me tell you about the company first. The Heyland & Whittle brand was created by the husband and wife team of Paddy Heyland and Ursula Whittle. They produce a range of handmade soaps in the traditional cold-processed method, using only the very best natural ingredients. Their soaps are made with essential oils, herbs and spices and are sulphate and paraben-free. Isn't that awesome?

First Impressions: When the package arrived and I opened it, the first thing to strike me was the fragrance. It was a mix of different kinds of herbs and spices. Each soap has its own distinct fragrance and I liked all of them. Some of the soaps are ideal for dry and problem skin, and I am going to enlist Mr. H to test these out :) I am sure he will agree because these soaps are sulphate and paraben-free.
